This slender woman, wrapped in a flowing veil, braces herself against the wind, which shapes her robe like a sculpture. The famous statue of Charles Sykes has adorned the hood of Rolls Royce since 1911. A so-called car mascot. The figure is inspired by the veil dance of Loie Fuller, who caused a sensation at the 1900 World's Fair with her flowing robes. An iconic image of the woman of the fin du siecle.
