The ideal woman around 1900 is free and dances without choreography, the dance that expresses her feelings. Louïe Füller did this at the World Exhibition in Paris in 1900. A very successful performance that inspired many artists. Her swirling veils were illuminated by colored light. This version by Moulin, and published by Goldscheider in Vienna, features a lamp in her golden veils. This creates the theatrical effect that was made so world famous in Paris by the American veil dancer.
