Beautiful unity of form and material. This vase by Rindskopf from Bohemia is closely related to the vases from the much larger Loetz. Iridescent cobalt blue glass, blown into a mold, and fitted with a metal gilded frame with forget-me-nots and stylized leaves. The tension in the curved lines that complement the clean lines of the glass is perfect.
