A bowl intended for evaporating potpourri or incense. These Egyptian ladies carry a scented bowl, but they are certainly also a feast for the eyes. Marked on the bottom with a number, Vanlines and made in France. In 1925 there was a real Egyptomania due to the discovery of the tomb of Tut-Ank-Amon. We also see the colors of the excavated treasures reflected in this statue.
