This matte glass from Sevres with all kinds of green tones and red-browns is simple in shape but perfect in proportion. The through and through lines in this glass are reminiscent of agate. Late 19th century, prelude to Art Nouveau. Cristalleries De Sevres - Landier et Fils. Lythalin glass is rare and was made by only a few glassmakers, most of them Bohemian. Sevres was probably the only French glass house to make it.
