After attending the Academy of Fine Arts in Stockholm, Agnes de Frumerie moved to Paris. In 1892 she was one of the first female artists to win the Prix de Rome. From 1893 she exhibited at the Salon des Artistes Français, and from 1895 also at the new Salon National de Beaux Arts. Between 1897 and 1908 she worked with the famous French ceramicist Edmond Lachenal. She exhibited with him many times at Galerie Georges Petit in Paris. Her work can be found in the Swedish National Museum in Stockholm, among others.
