Rare large blow-out vase from Etablissements Gallé. The master himself had been deceased for some time, but the designs that came out of Emile Gallé's company were increasingly perfected and renewed. To keep in touch with the spirit of the times, in addition to the technique of etching, compressed air was now also used to produce vases. A mold was used in which the decor was applied in low relief. After blowing into the mold, the vase was etched, which placed the decor extra high on the surface and also allowed for soft color nuances to be created.
