This vide poche (the name for a bowl into which one can empty one's pockets when returning home, so that the loose coins and keys can be found) has a typical Art Nouveau appearance. A water nymph emerges from a pond with water lilies. She is adorned with lilies in her long hair, the wave movement of which continues in the waves on the water. The man of the house happily emptied his pockets. Despite the high quality of this work of art, it is not signed. The style is strongly reminiscent of Chalon or Gürstner.
